Abstract
This next lecture on wound management takes an in depth look at wound healing and repair and discusses advanced wound management techniques at length. It is an ideal starting point for developing understanding of wound healing and to background to understanding how to repair wounds successfully. It begins by discussing the wound healing process and a theoretical introduction to the subject and moves on to consider complications such as infection, and wound management such as lavage. It then considers different debridement techniques in detail, looks at common factors that delay wound healing and also discusses different wound types and how to treat them.
