Volunteering

Volunteering worldwide can be an awesome way of using your veterinary nursing skills to help animals in some really awesome places. We wanted to help raise awareness of charities who need Vet Nurse Volunteers and help VNs find volunteering opportunities worldwide. Volunteering can be such a fantastic experience and there are so many places in need of help we wanted to list a few here as a starting point for VN’s thinking of volunteering. Of course we’d recommend checking out the volunteer placement carefully beforehand and always travelling safely!

We provide free CPD for VN’s working in many charities and projects abroad, as the great thing is wherever you are in the world you can keep up with your CPD with Vet Nurse Online.  If your charity/project would like to be listed or would like to receive free online CPD please email at info@vetnurseonline.co.uk.

Or, for something a little different if you fancy having a change from caring for animals but are still interested in volunteering why not consider helping out at the Mangochi Orphans Education school in Malawi, the school that you support with your membership of Vet Nurse Online since for every member that signs up we give £10 to Fomoe, the UK charity that funds it. For more info see www.fomoe.org.
