Victoria Field VN, IOC, IHHTP, CiPD Cert.TP qualified as a Veterinary Nurse whilst employed at a 13 vet practice in 1993. On qualifying, Victoria took the position of staff nurse at an RSPCA Hospital to further her experience of the animal welfare sector. Along her career path she also worked as Head Nurse at a practice in the South West and also at one of the UK’s first Feline Only Practices.
In 1996, Victoria changed her career path to work in a veterinary sales environment, to gain business knowledge, and spent 12 successful years with the largest Pet Insurer in the world, progressing from Veterinary Field Sales Representative, to UK Field Sales Manager, a role that encompassed recruiting and coaching the field sales team and maintaining relationships with the Veterinary and Animal Welfare Sector. Victoria studied Cipd Training Qualifications in 2005, and was awarded the CiPD Certificate in Training Practice in 2006.
In 2009, on developing further interests in the behaviour of humans, studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Addiction Counselling with the Institute of Counselling, being awarded Diploma qualifications in 2010. Victoria runs a consultancy in Veterinary Team Wellness and Coaching from her base in the Midlands. She also writes online CPD for veterinary nurses in her role as a Vet Nurse Online lecturer.
