Alison Mann BSc(Hons) Dip HE Dip AVN (Small Animal) CVN RVN:
I graduated from Writtle College in Essex with an honours degree in Equine Science and after working in the industry for a couple of years, including a stint in equine nursing, I decided to train as a small animal VN. I qualified in 2009 whilst working in a mixed first opinion practice in Bristol. In 2010 I moved to Langford Veterinary Services, University of Bristol and worked as a rotating nurse before specialising in surgery and latterly as a theatre nurse.
During my time at Langford Veterinary Services I have developed a keen interest in both soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures including joint replacements and minimally invasive interventional techniques.
I am also a clinical coach and enjoy passing on my knowledge both practically and theoretically.
Currently I am studying towards my Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing.
