Environmental Enrichment for Cats in Practice

Abstract
This lecture focuses on feline behaviour in order to ensure a high standard of care for cats in practice. It concentrates on minimising stress for cats in the waiting room, the consult room, and for admission and hospitalisation. It looks at the physiological, safety and behavioural needs of cats and the environmental enrichment needed within veterinary practice to meet these needs.

- Knowledge of how to help reduce stress for cats in the practice setting.
- The confidence to implement changes in practice in order to help reduce stress in feline patients.
