Abstract
This lecture is the second in a two part series on canine transfusion medicine for Veterinary Nurses. It takes a detailed look at issues that may arise with regard to blood transfusions, looking at signs of mild, moderate and severe reactions and the monitoring required throughout, and also post transfusion monitoring and care. It also discusses case studies of blood transfusion patients.
