Abstract

This lecture focuses on the importance of hand hygiene in practice. It discusses why ensuring and maintaining hand hygiene is essential in patient care, shows a video of the hand hygiene procedure that should be carried out as advised by The World Health Organisation, and gives practical ways to help uphold hygiene in the busy healthcare environment.
